Christy Lea, an intellectual property litigator and partner at Knobbe Martens, co-led a 7-member trial team to a $112M victory on behalf of client, Edwards Lifesciences CardiAQ. Once a local startup company, CardiAQ successfully sued a former vendor for trade secret misappropriation, while being acquired by Edwards Lifesciences for $400M along the way. This program will explore the behind the scenes of protecting trade secrets, trial and witness prep, courtroom dynamics, trial themes that worked and didn’t work, and other facets of a great success story.
