    Company Name:
    Jalili Law, PC

    Practice Area:
The primary focus of my firm is tax law—including controversy (audits, examinations, refund claims, and tax litigation), as well as advisory and planning. I handle matters involving the IRSstate franchise and income tax agencies, and state and local issues like municipal business taxes. I also represent clients in business litigation, including complex partnership disputes.

    Fun Fact About Me:
Outside of work, I’m a language person—I speak Japanese, Spanish, and Farsi, and I love how each language opens a different door into culture, humor, FOOD, and how people tell stories. It’s also a great reminder in practice that communication isn’t just about words; it’s about making people feel understood.

What is your favorite part about OCWLA?:
It’s the community, without question. OCWLA brings together women who are genuinely excellent at what they do, and still generous with their time, insight, and encouragement. I love learning from women who are leading in this profession while keeping the mission front and center: advancing women and giving back in a concrete way. The programming is consistently strong, and the philanthropy makes the impact feel real, not just aspirational.

Is there anything else you'd like the OCWLA Members to know about you?:
I’m a big believer in building both systems and bridges: creating structures that help people thrive, and also connecting across perspectives, practice areas, and lived experiences. I love the intersections of people’s stories and the way community works best when everyone can show up as themselves. Most of all, I’m very hands-on: I’m happiest when we’re doing meaningful work together, because I truly believe you grow the most when you authentically help others.
