Since the OCWLA was founded in 1975, nearly 50 years ago, OCWLA has provided invaluable services that directly promote the advancement of women in the legal profession. The impact of those services continues to benefit our 500+ members, as well as our legal profession and community.

Each year, OCWLA connects and educates members with informative and innovative educational programs. We provide networking opportunities through a variety of events, such as our annual wine event, membership mixer, our monthly book club, and free coffee meetups.

OCWLA gives back to the legal and greater Orange County community through philanthropy awards to nonprofit organizations. In 2023, we provided financial awards to Collaborative Courts Foundation, Girls Inc. of Orange County Laura’s House, MOMS Orange County, Pathways to Independence, Veterans Legal Institute, and WISEPlace, which were presented at our Annual Gala. It is through our Annual Sponsors’ generous support that we are able to continue our work in the community.
