    Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA)* is planning its annual fundraising event, which will take place on October 23, 2014 at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach.  We will be honoring our Judge of the Year, Orange County Superior Court Presiding Judge Glenda Sanders, our Attorney of the Year, Joan Huckabone Mayer, Deputy General Counsel of the Lennar Corporation and this year's recipient of the President's Award, Steven R. Young.

    Auction/Opportunity Drawing Prizes.  I invite you to participate by donating your company’s special products, services, event tickets, gift baskets, memorabilia, etc.  Please see the attached donation sheet, and return it as soon as possible.

    Sponsorships.  By sponsoring or underwriting a portion of our event, you will get your firm name out to all attendees, get event seating, verbal recognition, and be included as a sponsor on our website pursuant to the schedule of sponsorship levels.  Please take a moment to look at the options available to get your company or firm recognized at the event.

    Charities Benefited.  OCWLA supports several worthwhile charities as part of its mission.  In the past, our events have supported the Community Courts Foundation, or “problem-solving” courts that address underlying issues that may be present in the lives of persons who come before the Drug, Homeless or DV Court on criminal, juvenile, or dependency matters; El Viento, a children’s mentoring program; OCWLA’s Bar Stipend and Diversity Stipend programs which support recent OC law school graduates; and the Public Law Center.
