            Orange County Women Lawyers Association (OCWLA)* is planning its annual fundraising event, which will take place on September 15, 2015 at the Irvine Marriot. This is a very special Gala, as the OCWLA will be celebrating its 40-year anniversary! In the downloadable Sponsorship Packet here, we have listed the past 39-years of Judge of Year and Attorney of Year recipients as a means of remembering the talented members of the Bar previously honored. 

            This year, the OCWLA is pleased to announce that it will be honoring our Judge of the Year, Honorable Josephine L. Staton, U.S. District Court, Central District and our Attorney of the Year, Karen "Kerry" Polyakov, Assistant General Counsel for Home Depot.

            Auction/Opportunity Drawing Prizes.  I invite you to participate by donating your company’s special products, services, event tickets, gift baskets, memorabilia, etc.  Please see the attached donation form and return it as soon as possible.

            Sponsorships.  By sponsoring or underwriting a portion of our event, you will get your firm or business name out to all attendees, get event seating, verbal recognition, and be included as a sponsor on our website pursuant to the schedule of sponsorship levels.  Please take a moment to look at the options available to get your company or firm recognized at the event.

            Charities Benefited.  OCWLA supports several worthwhile charities as part of its mission.  In the past, our events have supported the Community Courts Foundation, or “problem-solving” courts that address underlying issues that may be present in the lives of persons who come before the Drug, Homeless or DV Court on criminal, juvenile, or dependency matters; El Viento, a children’s mentoring program; OCWLA’s Bar Stipend and Diversity Stipend programs which support recent OC law school graduates; and the Public Law Center.
