During this talk, Zelekha Amirzada from Tigress Negotiating will discuss wage equality issues and provide a foundation in the motivational and tactical requirements behind achieving a successful salary negotiation. During the talk, participants will learn how to: (1) reduce their fear of asking for their salary demands, (2) recognize the psychological obstacles behind women asking for more money, (3) understand the substantial economic cost to them if they fail negotiate their salary, (4) properly set monetary and non-monetary salary demands, and (5) determine how to best highlight your achievements during the negotiation in order to achieve the best possible outcome. The presentation will include a catered lunch.
