OCWLA Members & Friends,

A group of OCWLA Board Members have committed to volunteer as attorney judges on November 18, and would love to invite the community to join! Come meet other members, and have fun networking, while also giving back to some incredible high school students!

1. Check in is at Central Justice Center between 4:45 pm and 5:15 pm.  [If you read the materials beforehand, you can arrive closer to 5:15. If you haven’t read the materials beforehand, you may want to arrive 4:45 so you have time to prepare. The materials are not lengthy, take 20ish minutes to review/understand.]
2. Trials will start at approximately 5:30 pm and will end at or before 8:00 pm. Trials have 2-3 scorers (attorneys/volunteers) and 1 presiding judge (usually an actual judge) who rules on objections.
3. We will meet at a local restaurant for a no-host dinner (Location TBD, Santa Ana), to start at 8:15 p.m.

After you register, you’ll receive an automated acknowledgement email with a link to the case materials (if they are not available yet, you’ll get an updated email later w/ the materials). Please check your spam folder if you don’t get the auto email. Then, you’ll get a calendar invite for the round typically within 2-3 business days of registration.
