Prior experience in labor and employment law is preferred, but candidates with general litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law will be considered. The Dale E. Fowler School of Law at Chapman University seeks applications for a Part-Time Lecturer of Practice Foundations- Transactions starting August 2017. Successful candidates will teach one 3 unit section of the required 200 level course, Practice Foundations – Transactions, under the supervision of a full time faculty member. Practice Foundations are small section courses that emphasize writing and practice skills. Students work on simulated problems and transactions that lawyers might encounter in practice and receive feedback on their work throughout the semester.
