The Empowering Women in Law Scholarship.
The Pearce Law Firm is led by Edith Pearce, a female lawyer who is invested in the success of women in the field of law. Edith wants to help one female law student each year by contributing to their education. This scholarship will be offered annually, and one female law student will receive $1,500 to alleviate some of their financial pressure.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to participate in this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be female
- Must be a resident of the United States
- Must be currently attending a law school in the United States or have been accepted to a law school in the United States
- Must complete the application form, including the essay response of 700 –1000 words outlining the top reasons they believe it’s important for more women to pursue a career in law, why they decided to become a lawyer, and how they see themselves having an impact in this field
- Deadline to apply is May 31, 2025
